Frequently Asked Questions

Omega Longevity FAQs

What makes you unique?

The best question of them all! We don’t just have a one-time discussion around your goals! Complete opposite. In fact, we have searched the internet for Peptide coaching that does things exactly how we do them. We have yet to find one single resource that does. So, what is this secret sauce? We will show you! Contact us for a free consultation so we can explain the simple process by which we will get you started to become your own peptide expert for you.

How can you save me money?

We will take out the need for self-experimentation. Many people when starting on their own with peptides will spend thousands of dollars experimenting with various peptides, and “throwing mud at the wall to see what sticks.” We look at the whole picture, and then build a protocol based on your goals, age, hormones, history, and injuries, etc. We also will coach on the exact process to utilize all peptides so you can maximize your investment. As an example, if you’re trying to lose weight and get lean, it is critical that your hormones are optimized before investing into a weight loss/lean muscle protocol. We don’t want to set up our clients for failure.

Where does the name Omega Longevity come from?

Omega, or Ω, is the final letter in the Greek alphabet, and is “often used to denote the last, the end, or the ultimate limit of a set.” Longevity refers to “long continuance or a long duration of individual life.” Our favorite part about Omega Longevity and Peptides & Bioregulators is not even losing weight or getting lean. It’s the anti-aging properties that these therapies can do, in addition to the immunity and injury healing properties. We believe that when you are 50 years old, you can feel like you’re in your 30’s when being coached the right way through a peptide therapy protocol.

After you set me up with a 90-day protocol, can I contact you for questions?

Absolutely! And, on the contrary, we will be reaching out to you on a regular basis for feedback and progress updates. We take pride in the success of our clients. We also know that you must “put in the work” which might include a combination of exercising, proper nutrition, and lifestyle. For the duration of the protocol, we will be accessible through the secure portal for questions.

How can I trust Omega Longevity?

We share our story, and where we have been and put our reputation on the line with every protocol we build for a client. We provide a free 20-minute consultation, and a no pressure approach. If it doesn’t feel right for you, then we take no offense. We can provide references as well as testimonials – both written and videos. Beyond that, we will provide you with basic protocols for free, and you can choose to hire us to coach you if you feel confident.

Do you have connections to other resources and doctors?

Absolutely! We are connected to some of the global leaders in peptide therapies including doctors, nurse practitioners, consultants, and “biohackers.” We participate in two of the top practitioner groups and are constantly being educated on the latest advancements in peptides and Bioregulators. We also have connections to the finest doctors that our preferred lab is affiliated with, along with other specialty clinics such as Holtorf Medical whom utilizes peptides as front-line therapies for pediatric and adult patients specializing in autoimmunity, mold, Lyme, and more. We are also connected to Orthopedics that specialize in stem cells and platelet rich plasma therapies. We are the hub, in the hub and spoke. We don’t claim to know everything – but we know the right people that do.

Is my private information protected and secure?

Yes! Although we are not medical doctors, we utilize a medical platform that is HIPAA compliant, and it also serves as a one stop location to sync with your apple watch and provides ways to input your metrics on a regular basis to measure your goal progress. This platform also has a mobile app for ease of use, in addition to the app interface on the computer.

What types of coaching do you do?

We offer both an advanced consultation service and a more basic service. The advanced one is a step-by-step handholding service where we do all the leg work and get you up and running in as little as 1-2 weeks. With the more basic consultation, we will build you a protocol and give you the dosages for each – but you will be on your own from there including the ordering process.

How do I get started?

Simple! Click here to send your contact information. After this, we will send you a link to our intake form which will take as little as 3 minutes to complete. After this, we will review your goals and reach out to you to schedule the consultation.

Peptide FAQs

What is a peptide?

A peptide is a sequence of amino acids 40 chains or smaller, with many being under 10 chains. A protein, however, is a sequence of amino acids 41 chains or larger.  Your body has over 7000 peptides in it right now as you are reading this. Peptide therapy is simply pulsing various peptides therapeutically to get an accelerated but natural outcome.

What was the first peptide discovered?

Insulin! In 1921, Sir Frederick G Banting, Charles H Best and JJR MacLeod from the University of Toronto discovered Insulin. It was later purified by James B Collip. It is interesting to know that for decades, people who need insulin have often injecting it into their bodies through the sub-q multiple times a day. We are happy to say that no protocol we build will have multiple injections throughout the day. But some may suggest AM and PM, due to the structure and therapeutic half-life of these short chained amino acids.

Are all peptides administered with needles? What if I fear needles?

Everybody fears needles! And NO, not all peptides are injections! Why are a lot of them injections, however? This is because, for example, 250 mcg (micrograms) injected subcutaneously (sub-q), like insulin needles, is more effective than 250 mg (milligrams) which is 10x the amount! Many peptides will not survive the intestinal tract and are pointless to be taken orally. With that said we suggest these things to consider. First, only about 50% of peptides in our protocols will be sub-q, and we also coach on how to mix multiple peptides into one syringe. The syringes are inexpensive, super small, and you can hardly feel the needle. In fact, most of the time if you feel anything, it’s because the alcohol wipe has not completely dried.

Are peptides like hormone replacement therapy (HRT) such as Testosterone (TRT) where you become dependent on them?

No! Not even close. When a man starts exogenous (meaning external) testosterone therapy, the body will see the testosterone and shut down its own production. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, and this can be reversed. However, this does make one dependent on the Testosterone pretty much for life.  Peptides are very different. Your body has over 7000 peptides, and pulsing extra peptides for short durations has never been shown in any research or anecdotes to cause permanent or even temporary reduction of your body’s natural occurring peptides.

Has anybody ever been harmed permanently by utilizing Peptides?

To our knowledge, no! In fact, at one point we had read a research paper that indicated a certain peptide called BPC-157 would take 150 vials at one time to be a theoretically “lethal” dose. To that point, too much of anything good can be lethal – including water!

Are peptides banned in sports?

Because of the incredible therapeutic advantage that a few peptides provide, some of them are banned by WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency). This sounds scary, and makes some people think Peptides are like steroids. This couldn’t be farther from the truth. Aaron Rogers healed from a season ending Achilles injury in record time, seemingly 50% faster than typical. It is rumored that he used all these types of therapies including Stem Cells, PRP’s, various ozone therapies, Peptides, and more. Now, we have no way of knowing this and it’s not our place to speculate. However, utilizing peptides when you’re in your 20’s, or 60’s, if you are not playing professional or college sports, is no issue at all. The fact that they are banned by WADA does NOT indicate they are unsafe. Rather, the fact they are banned is further evidence to show just how effective they are! And we think that is a pretty amazing and great thing!

What other forms of Peptide therapies are there outside of Sub-Q?

The other forms that are common are nasal route, capsules, troches, and topicals. In fact, some peptides are better in these forms than injections. Along the same lines, we also know what forms are more effective than others. For example, the amidate form of a nasal spray of Semax crosses the blood brain barrier better than the acetate form. This is just a very small example of why and how we can save you thousands of dollars from experimentation!  Bioregulators are all capsules which we can thank Dr. Khavinson for from the 1970’s. This is why they are often referred to as “Khavinson Peptide Bioregulators.”

Will I maintain weight loss results if I achieve my goals in 90 days?

At Omega Longevity, we are not motivated to get one client. We are motivated to get one client’s success. We have worked with over 100 people in a 1-to-1 setting in the past 12 months all word-of-mouth referrals. Because we look at the big picture before starting, we can set expectations up front. We also endorse and recommend a proper lifestyle, diet, and exercise. In our protocols, when fully implemented, your metabolism will change for good. As well, you can expect permanent results if you maintain a healthy lifestyle.

How often do I need to work out and exercise to see results if my goal is weight loss?

We strongly recommend implementing not just a proactive exercise or workout routine but also healthy nutrition and lifestyle. The latter are just as important as working out. However, to really accelerate your goals, you must get your heart rate up and challenge your body in any way beyond average. For some people, working out is simply a daily walk. For others, it may be 3-4 days in the gym. Regardless, we build the protocol to accommodate one’s ability. For example, some people may have injuries that prevent them from lifting weights. But, as we implement a protocol, and they start to lose weight and the injuries start to heal, people naturally become more motivated to exercise.

I’ve heard of Flat-Butt syndrome and other side effects of the “skinny shots” … Is that going to happen to me?

No! We do not encourage the use of “skinny shots” such as Ozempic or Monjouro alone. In fact, without the right supporting supplements and lifestyle, these agents can very much cause massive weight loss but also massive muscle atrophy. When this happens, people can lose healthy fat, and their face may sink in and have extra skin hanging around. We do not allow this to happen. If we do include the recommendation of one of these modalities, we have a very particular tried and proven supporting regimen including supplements, protein, water, and electrolyte requirements as well as the idea that we focus NOT on weight loss, but on reduction of body fat and addition of muscle.

What if I had more questions about specific Peptides or Bioregulators?

Our insights page links to dozens of well researched articles on individual Peptides and Bioregulators with links to authoritative sources such as PubMed and NIH. We have built these articles on from our own research and are continually adding more. In most articles, there are a handful of FAQs.
